A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer and linked to information about the user. We use session-based cookies for session navigation and e-commerce purposes. For example, only by setting a cookie on our site will a user's shopping cart function properly and a class purchase be enabled. Also, a user will not have to log in with a username and password more than once per session, as long as the transaction is made within the time-out period. This saves much time while on our site. If users reject the cookie or turn off their browser cookies, they can still use parts of our site but cannot make a purchase.

Thus, you must have both cookies and javascript enabled in order to use the e-commerce part of our site and make a purchase.

Web Service Log File Data

Like most standard Web site servers we use log files. This could include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information.

Newsletters, Forms, and Other Publications

If we offer a newsletter or other subscriptions and a user wishes to subscribe to them, we ask for contact information such as name and email address. Out of respect for our users privacy we provide a way to opt-out of these communications. Please see the Choice/Opt-out section below.

Service Announcements

On rare occasions it is necessary to send out a strictly service related announcement. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance we might send users an e-mail. Generally, users may not opt-out of these communications. However, these communications are not promotional in nature.

We DO NOT Share Personal Information with Third Parties (except as needed to fulfill requested services using intermediaries or agents) without users' express consent.

Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may disclose personal information when we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with an appropriate law enforcement investigation, current judicial proceeding, a court order, or a legal process that we must legally comply with.

Our users are given the opportunity to "opt-out" of having their information used for purposes not directly related to our site at the point where we ask for information. We have taken steps to ensure that personal identifying information collected in the future is secure, and we have limited the number of people who have access to the information by such things as password protections that guard against unauthorized access. Electronic components that store personally identifiable information are in a secure environment.
